Colorado Rockies win their 1st playoff series in franchise history. Congratulations. Rockies at Diamondbacks for the NLCS. EDIT: On September 15, they had a .512 Winning Percentage, were 6 1/2 games back of the DBacks and in 4th place. Their elimination number (opposite of magic number) was less than the Cardinals. How far they have come.

DBacks win 5-1, advance to NLCS. It's a shame really. The Cubs were a pretty nice story. They struggle horribly for a month or so, then you have the Zambrano-Barrett dugout fight, and Lou goes apeshit arguing a call the next day. They caught fire, made the playoffs, but they just didn't have enough juice left. This also puts the years w/o title at a nice 100.

Jason Kendall is absolutely terrible. He does not belong in the majors. .242 avg, 3 HR, 41 RBI, .610 OPS.
