  1. Hey, even Ellsbury getting in on the homer party.
  2. Err...come on Dice. You got a 10 run lead, don't hit the first guy.
  3. Wouldn't be surprised if something is wrong with Kazmir, we're pounding him.
  4. I love the SEC. It's awesome. As long as Auburn comes out on top.
  5. Quite the trade. LT, Manning, Grant, all moved. Impressive.
  6. Reports are saying Drew won't be back until this weekend at Toronto, so we'll probably see Coco play every day and Ellsbury and Kotsay alternating, since Coco has a .511 OBP in September, although he's slowed down recently.
  7. Great, a 28 pitch inning after a 4 spot in the first. At least there were no runs, but that was NOT very good.
  8. Remy might be right on that one. It doesn't gain DiceK any favors by walking off the mound before the call.
  9. Numerous full counts including a walk. IIIIIIIIIII'Ts DICEK!
  10. 4-8 this month, the loosening has taken place.
  11. Hey, good start. If DiceK doesn't suck, that'd be great.
  12. Win, tie up the East. Easy as that. Question: If we take 2 of 3, evening up the season series vs TB, and then end up the season tied for first, will we play a 1 game playoff, or is there another tiebreaker? Do they do one game playoffs if the loser would still make the playoffs?
  13. We'll see what Auburn can do vs LSU next week. Can't wait for that one. Tennessee should be a reasonably tough game, they lost to UCLA, who got f***ing pounded this weekend. Speaking of UCLA, I'm so pleased that they got killed Saturday. Neuheisel was a joke Week 1.
  14. Disagreed. Salty has graduated from prospect status, but in BA's 2007 list he was #56, above the likes of Pedroia, Joba, Carlos Gomez, Kurt Suzuki, etc. Kottaras, this year, in about the same level as Saltalamacchia was then, is #20 in SoxProspects.com's list. Salty already has 500+ MLB at bats, and while not the greatest of stats, does have experience, something that Kottaras cannot claim. Actually I would say Brown will be a AAAA player. He's 26 and hasn't been called up, and while he is a very good defensive catcher, has a ceiling of a backup catcher. Kottaras has a higher ceiling, but it remains to be seen what he can actually do.
  15. But he's not 3rd base coach anymore
  16. Though not a bad one. Yost made some pretty terrible moves in the Phils series.
  17. Send 'em home Sveum!
  18. Ugh, really? Didn't actually see the game, but that sounds like Papelbon...he needs a chat.
