I agree with Lopez too, I just don't feel comfortable when they call on him. Aardsma seem like someone who can be really good, and Corey...... well I'm just happy he doesn't come up and give free passes along with a tone of bombs, just one now and then. So when Timlin comes back then bye bye Lopez.

Yanks giving him 5, I know they would be stupid enough to give him 5, but they are already going after Miguel Cabrera, don't know if that makes much sence.

Don't like the sounds of that, I really thought they would get this deal done but with time running out it looks like he's going to see what he can get elsewhere. Think he wants 4 years but I'm not real sure he will get that anywhere.

They said on Sports Center that Gagne is pencilled in for the 8th, don't think we will see Timlin tonight.

We may consider DLowe a cheap pick up as a trade for Clement, but from these numbers I would think LA would think Lowe was about as good as they could hope for this season. They won't be willingto give him up and pay more cash for a guy like Clement.

Reminds me of a guy (Wayne Carey) over here in the AFL who got caught in the toilets at his vice-captains place going to town on his wife. Not the first time, just the first time they were discovered. This guy had a bigger profile over here then Manny would have in the US. He was made to leave and site out the whole season before the club traded him. Things are just different over here I suspect.

Can't a problem with what he has said, the only thing is he can't expect to continue to earn the money he is on in his present role as a setup guy. Better try and get that closer role back Keith!

I feel that paps should stay where he is, at least for now. Think people have been too quick to pass off Foulke, the guy was doing a decent job closing games not even 12 months ago. If they are hoping to trade him away at some stage it would be a good idea to get a few more tough innings under his belt between now and then.

So the Sox shelled out the cash and the ball still isn't going to be kept at Fenway, well that sounds like complete crap. So basically the Red Sox paid Doug for him not too keep the ball, that makes sense.

Doubt they would have, not that he deserves anything for it. It's this guy’s fault the ball isn't kept at Fenway where it should be.

New member from Melbourne Australia, have been a fan for a long time and planning a stop over in Boston, June of next year to see a game while doing some traveling. I'll be looking for plenty of tips and maybe a chance to meet up with a some people for a beer when get over there :thumbsup:
