  1. LOWELL! f***in A that was smooth. I'm gonna go Jacko on this gamethread tonight.
  2. f***in' dirty. That change is sick.
  3. Ump's got the low zone tonight.
  4. Dirty. Suck it, Damon.
  5. That ball was stung. s*** - Would have liked to have gotten one out of that.
  6. From SoSH/ESPN's chat with Will Carroll this morning: A corner outfielder with good defensive skills and appears to have a solid bat as well. http://japanesebaseball.com/players/player.jsp?PlayerID=1064 Career: .393 OBP, .545 SLG, .938 OPS in eight seasons with Chunichi. http://sonsofsamhorn.net/index.php?showtopic=18181 Is this a possibility? Can anyone elaborate on this scenario? Does the Red Sox going after Fukudome make Manny expendable?
  7. And here we go. Put up 7 in the first.

  10. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/columns/story?columnist=klapisch_bob&id=2851004 2. If his change is an out pitch, why did he "only throw it a few times"? If it's a consistent out pitch, why not throw it more frequently? I will say that the combination of a 94 MPH fastball and that curve have the makings of a really solid young pitcher. He just wasn't there last night.
  11. http://image.weather.com/web/radar/us_nyc_closeradar_plus_usen.jpg I think they get this one in. Won't be surprised if there is a delay though. edit - That is, of course, unless George decides he wants to give his arms a night off. Pansy ass motherf***er.
  12. I guarantee Tavarez makes at least three more starts. He can still be a big arm in the pen if Hansack gets called up. Don't expect a lot from Lester this year.
  13. Yeah, didn't see much of the change. Curve is an A+ pitch, and if he can locate his fastball it'll be an OK pitch. Didn't see many changeups.
  14. ORS would start it tomorrow if the Sox won tonight.
  15. I think you've learned your lesson, Ryan. The person who creates a GT does so until they lose.
  16. Is it safe to say the Yanks need 2/3 this weekend? I think they're primed to do it (Pettite and Wang should win) but what would the rwaction in NYYland be if they drooped a series to the Sox at home?
  17. Nope. Throw in Wakefield who will eat innings at 4-4.5 ERA ball and I've got a real cautious optimism about this team. PS - I call dibs on the WMP avvy.
  18. http://www.firejoemorgan.com/search?q=MICHAEL+KAY Look at the first few posts...great insight as to when he compared the idea of jinxing a perfect game to the Holocaust.
  19. I hope it's Donnelly, would love to keep the best relievers fresh for the Yanks.
  20. If it's a 3 run lead, I'd love to see Donnelly or Piniero to start the inning. Probably wishful thinking though.
