  1. Huge. Sox will win this game.
  2. If the Sox get out of this down 4-3 they will win this game.
  3. Not sure if it's possible for anyone to blow more than Delcarmen.
  4. Go back to Southie, douchebag
  5. Delcarmen f***ing sucks
  6. quit bogarting my s*** fool
  7. Buch with another fantastic outing
  8. So you think the Pats are a better team than they were 48 hrs ago? Drink that Kool-Aid
  9. JD hit # 20? lol he sux
  10. Clay Buckles rooolz
  11. Who? Jarvis Green? Ron Brace? You could make the case that one year of Seymour and the 3rd round pick might be worth more than the 1st rounder two seasons from now, especially if your team's window might be closed in two seasons. Why is Wilfork more important?
  12. I'll be here tonight for the first time in a long time, it seems.
  13. Not banned? Cleveland ties it at 5 in the 6th
  14. I don't disagree, but you have to consider if trading him this year while hurting their SB chances is worth it. Pretty much everyone I've listened to says that even though the Pats got the 1st, they are worse than they were Saturday night. That alone is enough to question the move, IMO.
  15. Buchholz average velocity: http://www.fangraphs.com/fgraphs/3543_P_FA_20090903.png Joba average velocity: http://www.fangraphs.com/fgraphs/2692_P_FA_20090904.png Looks very similar, but seems to be a downward trend for Joba whereas Clay's been more consistent with the velocity.
  16. Guy gets way too much credit for not having won anything in 5 years. Strongly disagree. If Seymour is healthy he's a top 10 DL in this league and he was coming off a season where he had eight sacks. Unless Wilfork senses desperation from the Pats and demands even more money. If I were his agent, that's what I'd do. Yeah, I get this, but it doesn't help them this season. I also keep hearing "they got something for someone they weren't going to get anything from anyway", completely neglecting that Seymour would have given them one more season of very high caliber football. I assume they give Burgess more DE time, but it's still a downgrade for this season IMO. "IN BB WE TRUST" This is a team turning over half its defensive unit already, and now they're losing one of their two or three best defensive players....long term it's great, short term this could really hurt the Pats.
  17. Outside of Buchholz's awful inning in Baltimore, which he could have gotten out of if he didn't have a statue at 3rd, he'd have a 3.5 ERA in 56 innings of work.
  18. Ya but I think he's referring to a possible Brandon Marshall deal. I don't think this deal is as slam dunk as many Pats fans would have you believe with all of the "IN BB WE TRUST!!1" BS. It's a good trade if you look at the big picture. But for a team with SB aspirations, weakening their Achilles heel even further seems to be a big gamble.
  19. My computer has been on life support all week. As far as I'm concerned, this thing is done.
  20. It helps when one of the higher ups at Nike is an alum.
  21. No, he has a point. The Sox were expecting to get ~180 innings for $4 million and they're going to get 130 or so. I'd like to see them move on from Wakefield this offseason, to be honest. This is what, four seasons in a row he's gotten hurt post-ASB? He has traditionally been terrible when coming back from these injuries as well. Just don't think it's worth it.
  22. ....which is better than 8 ER in 4 IP.
  23. Wouldn't this have been the spot for Wagner?
