I find AJ Burnett to be vastly overrated and a large injury concern. I can't think giving the guy 5/80+ is a wise investment. -

I actually think the WEEI contingent comes across like douchebags here. Grant acknowledges time and time again that he was mistaken but in typical Big Show fashion, he gets shouted down.

Syracuse is VERY reliant on the three to have any success. IMO, it's Pitt and UConn in the BE, then the second tier (Gtown, Louisville, Syracuse, WVU), then everyone else. I think UConn is the best overall team....we have to see how they mesh though.

Depending on the deal, it may be wiser than committing 5/80 to Burnett of 4/48 for Lowe...especially if they feel Bowden/Buchholz/Bard cna develop next season. -

I'll ask you this - do you feel the Yankees have a significant advantage over the Red Sox when it comes to payroll? Follow up to that is do you believe the Red Sox have a comparable advantage when it comes to the rest of the league?

Dustin Pedroia? Jonathan Papelbon? Lars Anderson? I'm confused, what are you saying here? How is Theo to blame for Beckett getting hurt? Varitek was under contract, one signed four years ago....you can't knock Theo for Varitek's lack of production unless he re-signs him. Did you have a problem with Varitek in 2005? Hell, even last year? This is what, 15 usernames now?
