Not really. the stuff is there for sure - plus it would be castig's 3rd starter. Not a bad option to have. I thought he'd be available in later rounds but I think it's an OK pick.

I think he hit 98 Lester will be fine, Beckett could stand for a luck improvement as well. Beckett's got the same problem Papelbon is having in there is too much horizontal movement on his fastball right now and he can't control it.

Doesn't Teagarden have a rep of being a pretty good defensive catcher though? Good defensive catcher with a good OBP is all this team would really need..
