Theo,
Will you ever understand that baseball is all about pitching, pitching, pitching. Or how about this one, Good pitching stops good hitting. It happens every year in the playoffs. The teams with the best pitching succeed. A team can never have enough quality pitching. The Sox are not going to make it past the Yanks this year for two reasons: Theo, 1. you gave away Arroyo and 2. you're still clinging onto Wells. The combination of the two has probably cost the Sox ten games and first place !!! If you want another outfielder, then go get him by trading another position player and not a quality pitcher! Ask the Reds if they would trade Arroyo for Pena and and you'll get nonstop laughter. Trading Arroyo proves that Theo, you don't understand baseball. Ask any team if they would trade any player for Wells and you'll get nonstop laughter. Wells is an old fat batting practice pitcher and it's embarrassing and a joke to see him on the roster as a player. Keep him as a coach or cut him. By not releasing him last year, proves that Theo, you don't understand baseball.
Theo, those two ignorant decisions have probably cost us the playoffs.
It's time to work your "magic" for some other team and then the Sox can hire someone who understands the importance of pitching
