    Pedro is great, but it took Curt Schilling to win the Red Sox a world series. And in the end that is all that matters to me. Schilling = the greatest pitcher in Red Sox history ( during my time). Sorry Petey and Roger.

    With as many times as Gonzo gets up with the bases loaded I wouldn't mind putting Loretta down in the 8 or 9 spot.

    I would much rather have Mueller, I will never forget the homer he hit off Rivera in Fenway. But Lowell is growing on me, his defense is silky. You forgot Gonzalez he has not been great at the plate, but he did basically win the game Schilling was pitching with his 2 RBI and his defense has been nice. My question is....who considered Beckett and Crisp poor or tired? These guys are young studs, and everyone knew it!

    Hopefully today is a sign of things to come. I didn't get to watch the game but I heard he hit a couple of shots to left center.
