I'm new to talksox.com but an old fan who grew up near the cape (Middleboro) in the 1960s and have lived in exile ever since. I'm currently in Edinburgh, Scotland and hope to follow the Sox via MLB Gameday audio. I'm struck by how unenthusiastic about Sox '06 most of the published predictions have been (Athol, SI, Verducci, etc). I'm admittedly biased but the Sox pitching has been handicapped much to low imho. I think this will be year of key comebacks and look forward to talking on this forum about great games in Boston right to the end of October.
