  1. No, I wouldn't watch sports for entertainment if I was. :harhar:
  2. To make it fair, it should be mandated that all players use steroids (I say PCP for that matter too). If that makes them play harder or better, I get more entertainment for my money. I don't care about old records being broken, your kids thinking they should try drugs too, or when one of the athletes flips out and kills their family from roid rage. I watch baseball to see home runs, base stealing, strike outs and the occasional brawl, damnit. All players being on steroids and PCP would make those things happen more often, so I'd be much more entertained.
  3. I can't pick just one. Pedro The Rocket The Steamer Lee Smith One day, when Schilling is gone, you can add him to that list.
  4. In the second Toronto game, I noticed Manny not swing at a pitch that was obviously a ball (high), yet Manny looked back at the ump as if to say, "Well??? Ball??? Strike???" Of course it was called a ball, but my point is that it is very unlike Manny to have to ask about a pitch that was so far out of the strike zone. How many times have we seen him half way to first base before the ump calls ball 4, on a pitch that is just a tiny bit out of the strike zone?
  5. Gee, I'm sorry I asked a simple question. I just figured that since the Sox are shopping Graf right now, and they have looked into what they could get for Clement and Arroyo recently...and they already made one deal with Florida...Willis' contract is up after this year, the sox have too many starting pitchers. Because of all of those factors, it seemed to me worth asking what people thought. If you think it's a bad move for the Sox, say so. If you think it's bad for the Marlins, say so. Please, by all means, inform me. Obviously, I'm new to this. Smart alec responses don't offer anything meaningful. Thanks to 26 for at least making it known that Florida wouldn't go for this. That is what I suspected in the beginning. I still thought it worth asking you "experts".
  6. Alright first post, so don't kill me... I have read rumors of the Marlins shopping Dontrelle before the break. The just lost Pokey too. What if the Sox offer them Graf, Clement, and a prospect (or maybe Bronson) for Willis? Would that fly?
