  1. I'll take Jacoby Ellsbury, one of our top picks in the last draft
  2. The red sox apparently are still interested in trading Manny Ramirez. They offered him to the Angels for Ervin Santana, Chone Figgins, and 2-3 of the Angels top 5 prospects, and also refused to pay any of manny's salary. The angels, however, declined, largely in part to the fact that they would've had to shell out $57 million over the next three years. This article was posted on the redsox website.
  3. While i see where you were going with Youk leading off (high OBP), i think that is Coco's niche, because he provides the speed that Youk lacks at the top of the order. Coco isn't a five hitter, especially with Tek, Nixon, and Lowell all good candidates to bat 5th
  4. yeah, i hit it twice, sorry I'll delete it, but I'm new and i don't know how Sorry
  5. I'm pretty sure Jackson went to the D Rays for Baez and Harper...not positive though
  6. The Sox will probably look to to trade Boomer Wells, but I no longer see who they will get for him. They have 4 OF, plenty of INF, and solid middle relief. Unless they can get a very solid prospect or a possible closer (very unlikely), I think they should hold on to him and wait for injuries. I hate to say it, but Beckett and Schill most likely wont make all their starts, and Clement is a ? mark; having 7 starters could turn out to be a blessing.
  7. I'm glad we got a solid glove. I hope we still get to see some of Dustin Pedroia, although it's doubtful. He'll probably play 2nd and Pawtucket this year. Hopefully, Alex Gonzalez can learn to up his average, and rediscover his powerstroke. The beauty of the deal is, we still get stellar dfense for 3 mil, and we are only stuck with his bat for one year if he doesnt improve. Fenway should cater to him, as a righty...
