    eh...no feelings really either way now. I just hope he ends up on the DL list A LOT and that his shoulder gives him many many problems.

    Get well Dave. That hip replacemant was done nearly 10 years ago. It's not a new surgery...I hope he'll be alright.

    Nice to hear from you MJ....hope you're not wearing yourself out . Actually last season towards the end with his shoulder I did wonder if he should be playing. My concern wasn't so much that he wasn't playing well...but injuries like the shoulder injury can worsen if not taken care of. My thought was for this coming year in which I thought he would still be a Red Sox. See...I don't wear rose colored glasses. The name rosey refers to the flower...a rose, which happens to be my favorite.... in case you were thinking of sending something for Feb. 14th As a matter of fact I think I still have my old sig with my name and a rose in it. I could use it for my avatar.

    Damon played through a lot of injuries last season. He really got himself beat up a lot. Poor thing..but seriously.... he kept playing and said he was fine but we could all see he was hurting and had some problems he wouldn't get fixed. Just wondering if he ends up on the DL list in the beginning of the season what will happen to the Yankees lineup? Sort of like when you buy something on Ebay, you never know if it really was worth the money till you try to use it... then find you got ripped off. Now seriously ...Damon has had many injuries so it could happen.

    I don't think it was his intention...but who ever specks for him now. I agree.. it may backfire...I'm sure it's angered a lot of fans.

    I still can't hate Damon...I appreciate what he did while he was a Red Sox. His add is not sincere IMO and is only meant to pacify the fans so when they play here May 1... is it...he won't cause a riot in Boston. It gets pretty rowdy when the Yankees come to Boston as it is. With Damon...I think you'll see more anger than ever. The add is all publicity to quiet the ensuing storm that will hit when they fist play here. Just my 2 cents

    MJ--> For the longest time Riv...you had Fire Torre in your signature last season. Now he's a great? You also use the word cohesive a lot and say chemistry is overrated all the time. I can only guess that when you say cohesiveness...you means cohesive tasks. Not meaning social cohesivness. Is this right? But then again some belive that to be able to have a cohesive task relationship between two ppl, there must be some kind of chemistry. I'm not sure how your using the word.

    jsinger121 hes not a free agent until 2007 so there is no rush. That's what I was asking about but Walrus answered it here because I knew there was reason he was advised not to do it ...I didn't know why. Now I see it.

    Walrus...was there something having to do with it being a 3 year but he could be traded anytime?(during the times there allowed to trade) Was that why his agents were againist it?

    I'm probably way off here ...but didn't Arroyo want to stay in Boston because of his music career. It was in his own interest. IMO but then my opinion in BB is usually off :dunno:
