    I love having Papelbon as CL right now, not once at any time did I feel that we could lose this game.

    How bout Santana? Anyway, Willis would be awesome to have but theres not a chance the Red Sox could land him for just Lester, it would require another significant prospect such as Hansen, which in that case you probaly say no. Any combo that doesnt include two of Lester/Papelbon/Hansen it would probaly be a nice deal, but im guessing it would take two of the top 3 to get a deal done.

    Beckett was consistenly hitting 96-97 on the radar gun which is excellent news. Other than the Wilkerson double Beckett was pretty much solid, just allowing two well placed infield singles. I think hes going to pitch well tonight.

    I think Loretta is going to have a great season, .310+ BA wouldnt surprise me for him.

    You dont get Tejada by trading Wells, Graffanino and Youkillis, Lester pretty much has to be involved, and its not worth it.

    Broxton has hte potential to be good but hes not really on a Papelbon/Lester level, Lester being hte 2nd best LHP prospect in the game, period. And Papelbon being right up there with him among hte top SP prospects in the game. So for broxton yes hes good but its not out of the realm of possibilites he gets dealt for a guy like Wells, but in this case were probaly talking Wells+cash/prospect but i think its possible and has been mentioned in hte media before.

    Yes Please! Maybe LA would do it but it would depend on how badly they need a SP, maybe cash would swap hands here also.

    I dont see much point in aquiring Roberts anymore, he would be a nice 4th OF and give some of our OFs some rest but the price of taking on Williams isnt worth it. Trade wells for prospects but if all were getting is C level prospects than dont bother trading Wells and stick him in the rotation and see what he does.

    I think its a good deal, Coco is a solid player who plays a premium position in CF and if he posts a .850 OPS (which i think is very possible) than I think hes going to be an outstanding pickup. Besides theres more offensive 3B in the league than CFs so we could probaly find a good 3B via FA or switch Youk to 3B and sign a 1B like Derek Lee and were all set, add in the fact that we upgraded our pen with Riske and basically just swapped C's (when shoppach had little role this season).

    Crisp is much better than his career OBP says he is. His past two years have been when hes really broken out and i think a .350+ is expected and a reasonable projection. With Fenway maybe even in hte .360+ range which is very solid imo.
