Because Wells has asked for a trade , it should only be done if the Sox can improve their team.David Wells was our best starter last year-15 wins. Look what we had to give up for 15 wins. Obviously there is an age difference between the two,but i believe that Wells becauuse of his mechanics is a younger 40 than say Schilling. He certainly knows how to pitch and is a competitor.To give him up too cheap , because we find ourselves without a ss or a cf is reactive and panicky.
