Trade makes sense to some degree. Aybar can step in for Cabrera. Lowell can play 3rd until Wood is ready. Pena gives them a power bat. Sox get a closer, a shortstop and a firstbaseman. Youk moves to third.
I'm sorry but Manny will be staying. His bat is too far important and compared what Soriano is making Manny looks like a bargain. Soriano for 8 years is a waste.
Relief Help is by far the main need of this team even more than a rightfielder. It goes relief help, shortstop, backup catcher and then whatever else they need. rightfield to me is not a big time need. To win you need a bullpen.
There is nothing wrong with him.....The Yankees foolishly signed him to a major league contract which cost him valuable development in the minor leagues. He was traded by the Yankees because they couldn't waste a bench spot developing his talent. Cincinnati traded him because they needed pitching. If this guy wasn't foolishly signed to a major league contract then his development would not have been hampered like it has been.
