    I think that A-Rod is a better all around player than Ortiz, but if I'm down to my last out at the end of the game, I'd rather have Ortiz up to bat. Emotionally, Ortiz means way more to his team than A-Rod, and I think that has to be factored in as well. All that being said, I think A-Rod will win the MVP this year because of the DH issue.

    IMO both the Yankees and the Red Sox have enough pitching to win the World Series, as long as the offense gets them some run support. Both teams probably don't want to be in a low scoring pitcher's duel, but other than that they're pretty well off. It's just a matter of pitching consistency for them throughout the postseason.
