Don't even start that bull, if anything, it is MORE of a pressure situation, because if he doesn't come up big here against a rookie pitcher, then he's going to be booed more than in any previous game. Not only that, but it's a game against the mets, and besides a red sox game, there can't be any more pressure.
Also, I didn't know Yankee fans had a say in who the team picks up in the offseason, so I don't know what that argument is for. I haven't heard any Yankee fans complaining about picking up Abreu or Lee either, unless we trade Hughes in the process. I think most people would only complain if that were to happen.
