  1. I agree, I certainly dont think he will be Hansen HOWEVER I do see him as a Jeff Nelson type pitcher. I think Cox could be better then guys like Beam/Chacon right now.
  2. BTW There would be no question that Rivera could pitch today if Torre didnt use him in a non-save situation in the first game.
  3. Yet he still uses him. Its quite annoying. Thats how you burn pitchers out. He ends up using Proctor and he gets nothing out of him.
  4. The question now as SFIT asked before.....Can Rivera pitch today?
  5. Smith when he was up here pitched well. Certainly better then Beam. Cox is currently working on a 28 inning scoreless streak in AA. (Or something like that)
  6. Why was Beam called up instead of Matt Smith btw? The Yankees also have to consider giving J.B. Cox a shot soon.
  7. Torre really blew this f***ing game.
  8. Torre is a fool. If your going to use Proctor then start him in the inning. Dont try and half ass it. Thats how you lose f***ing ball games.
  9. Why was Beam in there to begin with? Torre has a tendency to try and get by without using his good pitchers. THEN when he gets into trouble he ends up using them anyway. s*** make up your mind. Do they have a day off or not?
  10. I actually felt bad for LeCroy.
  11. I just want Sal to be able to make a throw down to 2nd base that doesnt bounce 10 times.
  12. ESPN is pretty far from perfect. Michael Irvin was cought with a crack pipe in his car and hes still there. Rick Sutclife makes an apperence on a Padres telecast drunk and he still has his job. However sexual harassment is very serious.

  14. WOW the strike zone is about as big as the grand canyon.
  15. Well from what I understand he had a back injury that took some of his power away and you combine that with being rushed too AAA and it really wasnt a suprised he struggled at the start of the season. Since he got to Trenton he has been playing like the prospect we thought he was. I think he has a 940 OPS (or around that) and he has more walks then K's in AA which I think suggests a hitter which is starting to mature. He is only 21 and in reality he should have started in AA not AAA. EDIT: Duncan has a .947 OPS in AA. .377 OBP .570 SLG
  16. Eric Duncan is hot as a pistol right now. He hit another HR and that makes 4 HR's in the past 3 games. Its great to see this kid comeback after that tough start to the year.
  17. I would never trade top prospects for a free agent to be.
  18. I'm not upset I just point the edit out. I did get quite a laugh at how it looks. On topic: I really liked Reynolds. I always thought when he did the college world series he did a great job. They should have put him in the booth more often.
  19. Meche has good stuff and Heilman hasnt lived up to his potential. Is Meche a FA after the season?
  20. If you noticed I put the edit in prior to your post. Take it easy.
  21. EDIT: FIRES**** http://www.nypost.com/sports/espn_fires_reynolds_sports_andrew_marchand.htm
