  1. It would make sense, but he's not as good as Branch.
  2. The Dolphins are a better than the pats in every place except overall defense and it's getting better.
  3. They would be a better team with Reggie Bush than without him. That's all it comes down to.
  4. Well I don't know about that, there's still worse teams than pats in the AFC east even without Branch.
  5. Who cares? most of them are gone.
  6. If you seriously think you can win a SB with troy brown as your top receiver, a mediocre second WR in Caldwell, a backup in Gabriel, and an unproven rookie in chad jackson, well then all I can say is good f***ing luck.
  7. Don't count on it.
  8. HAHAHAHAHAH! All I can do is laugh at the stupidity of the pats. Have fun missing the playoffs.
  9. OK, well I'm not continuing this pointless argument anymore. I know most yankee fans are devoted. Think of it as a lake. There are parts where it's shallow, but most of it is deep. RSN devotion is supposed that of an ocean and yet people leave before the game is over. Do I believe the average Sox fan is more devoted than a yankees fan? Yes, but there are very intense yankee fans, at least 55 K of them. That is all I will say on this.
  10. Yeah ok, you go out there and sit in 55 degree weather with driving rain for 4 hours. Sounds like a real good time. Have a nice cold and wet hot doh while you're at it. Maybe a soggy pretzel? Can't beat that!
  11. Royals take a series at fenway.
  12. 2.88 to 5.11? I realize there's going to be a difference, but I don't think it's nearly 2.5 runs.
  13. 2 major league teams that could hit, what a great sample size that is.
  14. So you're telling me you're going to start Josh Johnson(was that his name? well he sucks either way) and Kyle Snyder over Anibal Sanchez? Hanley/Gonzalez as SS would have been great.
  15. LOL, yeah, let's only focus on the not as good stats because we're bitter we traded this guy and got an over the hill 3B and a starter who can't pitch in the AL. Besides, that stat has improved anyway and he's only 22 years old.
  16. Yeah, officially he didn't have the GM title, but I'm sure he had something to do with it. He wouldn't have gone back if he didn't endorse this move.
  17. So what's 1 more year going to do about Lowell's age? Hanley was the future and would have been perfect for the red sox right now. This was a 1 sided trade now and will be looked that way 5 years from now. I realize Theo has made some outstanding moves, but this is his valley.
  18. Yes it is. This trade was AWFUL. What are the chances Hanley becomes another Angel Berroa? Pretty much zero. And Sanchez was pumping 95 mph fastballs in the 9th inning. He's not going anywhere.
  19. Anibal Sanchez now has a 2.89 ERA afer throwing a no hitter tonight. Hanley Ramirez is proving to be a very capable major leaguer in his rookie season and will probably only get better. The future is very bright for both. So what did the Sox get back? A grossly underachieving(or maybe he's just overrated because of one good postseason) starting pitcher who's given up over 30 homers with a 5.11 ERA in Josh WAY BACKett. Who also happens to be 4 years older than Sanchez as well. Then there's Lowell who's having a very good season, but is he the future? Not a chance. He's 32 and over the hill. So, clearly this move says the sox are going for it this year by getting what they thought would be now talent. So then why at the trading deadline did they not make a move as if they were more in the rebuilding mode? Awful Job Theo.
