    JD is a career 286/392/502/894 not to mention pretty good defense thats pretty damn good numbers. If JD's stats are like they are now at the end of the season and years to come, he's not that much overpaid when JD is 100% healthy he's a heck of ballplayer, last year he had a few personal problem and nagging injuries also JD has had 2 season with over 1000 OPS
