I'm not making back flips here but... Beltre > Lowell at 3rd base now we have V-mart at full time Catcher and Youk full time first basemen . If they didn't get Beltre we would see Kotchman and Vtec more often , now we wont

I think its safe to say that the players chosen who are going to make the super bowl wont be playing in the pro bowl so IMO its a stupid idea to play it a week before the super bowl

you are aware that the Sox added Lackey right ? last year the Sox only had 2 reliable starters. Lester & beckett next year you add Lackey .... Dicek who will be in fit condition this time around and Buchholz will start the season as a starter

with the Cameron signing they could use Ellsbury as a chip for this trade -
so wait a sec.... they didn't want to offer Bay 5 years but yet they do it for lackey ? this dosent make any sense . I'd rather offer the 5 years to Bay, its more risky to do it for a pitcher
