    Both. In this case there is no difference. My 11 years of life experience have taught me that being a fan means seeing the good and the bad in a team but still liking the team. I won't root for Renteria because he is a bad, lazy player who won't lay out for balls and messes up routine plays. The Sox can do better for $8mill, son.

    Umm, look at my sig and past posts. I hope we can move Renteria in the off-season and sign a cheaper and better alternative. Hanley is the real deal, I hope he's called up for next season. He has been making more errors than any other player in MLB -Fixed that for you His range has nothing to do with his errors- he's messing up routine plays and room service hops- stuff that's automatic for a good SS. Oh no, here it comes again.... LOL! /me dons flame-resistant suit!

    Timlin is not a closer. In an interview earlier in the year he said that he's not a closer and has no interest in being one. If a guy doesn't want to close then he'll be a bad closer. That position is all about the attitude. That said, will foulke ever be 100% this season?

    There is a precedent. Another SS in NY did that a couple years back. But I think Youk is the 3B of the future for the Sox, but I will miss watching Billy Baseball. He is a baseball player through and through and will be sorely missed. He isn't a shameless self-promoter, has a solid glove and a solid bat and he's just a solid guy. What about Hanley in Center Field? I hope we don't have room in CF next year, but there is talk of Hanley moving there should Damon move on.

    Sorry that the truth hurts guys, but you should keep this chatter in the thread where it belongs- the one I started specifically to start an argument on the worst defensive SS in baseball, in the Fights and Crap forum. This thread is dedicated to our k machine that is Bellhorn. I kind of wish he had stayed healthy though because he would have set a record for most Ks in a season. Graffanino realizes that this is his big chance now that he's out of 2nd rate baseball cities and has come to the big time in Boston. We'll see how he plays in October, I guess that's the ultimate statement right there. His glove is fantastic too.

    HGH. He's admitted to a grand jury that he used it. It's untraceable- there is no way to test for it right now. It's like 'roids but no test can give it up. This is what happened with 'Roid boy's stomach troubles last year. He was shooting the stuff up into his stomach and ended up messing himself up. Giambi's back on HGH. This is the new generation of steroids in the MLB folks.

    Yeah, looks like there may be no room for marK "with a capital K" Bellhorn when he's done in Pawtucket. That was a statement by Grafanino Monday.

    Just found this forum and figured I'd join so I can vent about the Sox and Youk not playing 3B enough. Also I want to vent about our $8mill/20 E6 mistake. Thank goodness we have the greatest catcher to ever don the tools of ignorance or all might be lost. I have 2 boys- 3 and 5 who are Sox fans too as is my wife (she's one of the Remy reports 100 voters). My oldest boy, Joe says that when he grows up he wants to be Johnny Damon and if you ask him about the Yankees he scowls and says they suck. That's the only time we allow him to say suck in that context. If Damon is wearing pinstripes next year that will scar him for life
