Uh yeah, more so then the weeks leading up to his DL stint. In the first inning it looked like he was moving pretty good on his way to second base.

As much as the news about PED's hurts, it seems to have lit a fire under Ortiz's ass, which is a huge thing for us. If he can rake down the stretch, we are going to be a hard to team to beat.

I like the V-mart trade, but my only concern is that a cut back on playing time for Lowell, Varitek and Ortiz could cause problems in the club house. Tito job has certainly got a lot harder in the last few weeks. That being said, this deal definitely improves the club and I'm excited to see what this team can do down the stretch.

We suck. We should trade Beckett, Lowell, Bay, Drew, Youk, Pedroia and Lester and rebuild with all the prospects. We are not doing anything this year, so Theo might as well start over.
