  1. haha well there are also guys like Chacon, Small, Sturtze
  2. Hey, its all good lol this is a Red Sox forum
  3. One person's trash is another person's treasure. Besides, the pinstripes have a way of changing players for the better (let the gagging begin...)
  4. What a sour puss. Don't pull a Sheffield, Wells, keep your mouth shut.
  5. Fenway is DEFINATELY more hitter friendly than Yankee Stadium is, no question. The Pesky Pole, the Green Monster. There isn't much debating on this one.
  6. Well considering Henry dubbed his team "Evil Empire" I don't blame stein for being a little mad.
  7. Doesn't surprise me. The Boss isn't a bad guy, the fans love him, and I remember one time the fans started cheering for him during an interview and he got all choked up and I saw some tears. Nice guy over-all, doesn't deserve to be the most hated person in all of sports.
  8. Damn Yankees Just Won't Die Just thought I'd throw that out there for all of you Yankee gravediggers.
  9. That would be a great signing IMO. The Yanks have enough bats, so his BA doesn't worry me. He brings some youth (compared to Bernie at least) and some much needed D. Nice move by Cash.
  10. 1-0 Yanks via the american league leading 38th homer by Alex Rodriguez.
  11. 0-0 still end of the 6th. Johnson has given up two hits and K'd 4 batters. Also very economical, under 70 pitches.
  12. Posada > Flaherty Anyway, KS is 0-8 in their last 8 games at YS, so hopefully the streak will continue.
  13. Johnson and Flaherty again.... I know Flaherty won that Jeter dive into the stands game, but if the Yanks make the post-season Johnson better get used to pitching, and pitching well, with Posada as the backstop.
  14. If there are available SP out there when the season is over who have become FA (I don't really know who will be or how many candidates there will be, just throwing out the idea) I'm sure Theo will try to upgrade some of your guys, especially if they don't perform well down the stretch/in the post-season. Papelbon=the Red Sox version of Wang, but healthy. I think he is gonna become a staple of the rotation for a few years.
  15. Have no fear, it doesn't have anything to do with you. We may be Yankee fans, but we aren't mean!
  16. Except for Bam-Tino, none of the Yanks have much familiarity with the guy.
  17. As much as I dislike the mouth, you have to give him credit. He put his entire career on the line and was a huge reason for the Red Sox winning the World Series last year. I don't think it is fair to be so hard on someone who was willing to give up his career for you.
  18. lol, Yankees fans don't have very creative t-shirts. Either that, or i just don't look hard enough.
  19. Fewf! I thought that Red Sox fans loved it when Curt called into radio stations. Maybe he should be more concerned with the way he performs than trying to control what people think about him. Sorry guys, I just can't stand The Mouth.
  20. No, it's not hot date lol its the Ultimate Party version.
  21. lol that's funny, i've never tried it though. unless you can count riding one while playing the sims??
  22. Welcome to the site!
  23. That's not true at all. While I wouldn't mind if YS banned Red Sox Suck chants, that's like saying if one restaurant says that you can't wear jeans then all restaurants have to ban jeans. As much as the owner of the Sox would like to have a say as to what everyone else in baseball does, Fenway is a private establishment and the people who make rules for it don't have anything to do with the rest of baseball.
