  3. Don't worry, I'm sure the ratio of Red Sox to movie-related posts will end up strongly in your favor
  4. Rogen is overrated in my book. I think Michael Cera is the funniest actor to come out of that entire group.
  5. Apatow hits a lot more than he misses so I have a hard time believing it won't be worth the 5$ cheapie Tuesday price
  6. going to see Funny People tonight, dont have a good feeling about this one
  7. It's definitely fastball command. Buchholz needs to have hitters respect the fact that he can locate his fastball down in the zone and on the corners so that his off-speed stuff becomes that much more effective. Otherwise, they just sit on the changeup or wait for a hanging curveball. Getting back to the Lester comparisons though, he had the same problems with fastball command and leaving his s*** up in the zone. It's a case of giving big league hitters too much respect.
  8. Lester had fairly significant growing pains as well, his record just didn't indicate that. Buchholz just flat out needs to stop over-thinking out there. Catch the ball, get the sign, throw the ball.
  9. his OPS in St. Louis is a stupid 1.546...dude is playing huge at a big time
  10. I'm psyched he's doing it on the eve of arguably the team's most critical stretch of the season
  11. All depending on what the lineup looks like two years from now, I can live with Kotchman in a platoon at the very least. The Martinez acquisition gives them a lot more flexibility in filling future holes.
  12. goddamnit, I happened to like these pants too...
  13. flawed mechanics, significant innings jumps, Dusty Baker, etc.
  14. the one your ace started?
  15. if he beats out Molina for the job..
  16. To each their own then. Ppinions on color commentators vary person to person a lot of the time. Don't be one of those f***s who think their opinion should be the be all end all opinion on the subject.
  17. I'd like to see one from the group of Dice-K, Smoltz, Penny and Buchholz step up to be a solid number three for the post-season but if things stay as is, yea I think we need another starter
  18. and now you can sleep tonight
  19. he's got a better OPS this season than he did in 2007 and if I recall, they won in 2007...
  20. all aboard the choo choo shoe http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee316/caseykduh17/choochooshoe.png
  21. They could DH Mauer if Montero doesnt pan out
  22. having to deal with hitters like Pedroia, Martinez and Youkilis while also dealing with Ellsbury on base is a nightmare for opposing pitchers
  23. Ellsbury's production at leadoff is sparking this team
