    our rotation is not a guarantee for the entire season, everyone knows hitting catches up to pitching at the season rolls on. in a rotation built around two 40 year old guys, a guy who had a 5 ERA last year and a rookie who's only been decent so far, ANYTHING can happen. the only thing a good start does for a team is cushion the blow when the inevitable slump happens throughout the season. the division race between the Sox and Yankees swung 6 games in a week, imagine what will happen in the remaining 5 months of the season

    Manny isn't swinging the bat as badly as everyone thinks. Yea his average is way down but he's bringing in RBIs. He went yard last Sunday and would've had a 3-run shot in Baltimore on Wednesday were it not for the f***ed up winds

    Foulke was a very reliable closer but Paps is on a whole other level right now. I'd safely say he's the best closer in the game today. His stuff is just overpowering. You know he's coming at you with the FB and they still can't hit it. and sometimes, he'll get you a filthy slider or splitter to make you look foolish. its a beautiful thing to watch

    The biggest thing about Beckett is the homerun total is down. The results are really starting to show that hitters can rest on his fastball anymore and its working wonders. Good for him
