  4. its amazing to me that there isn't more MVP talk for Lowell. he isn't in the category of A-Rod, Magglio or Vlad, but he deserves some buzz
  5. ha! the Aflac trivia question on the FSN Florida broadcast of the Yanks/Rays game: How much money will Alex Rodriguez make this inning?
  6. Baltimore Orioles at Boston Red Sox Date: September 2nd, 2007 Time: 2:05 PM ET Location: Fenway Park, Boston, Massachusetts Pitching Matchup: Daniel Cabrera (9-13, 5.08 ERA) vs. Jon Lester (2-0, 5.67 ERA) Still riding the feat of Clay http://bostondirtdogs.boston.com/BDD_CB_nohit_9.1.07.jpg
  7. basically, what im trying to say is during the last 2 games, at no point did I feel like the team had any shot of coming back, regardless of how small the defecit actually was. they just seemed like they wanted nothing more than to get the hell out of New York and go back to pounding the AAAA clubs from Tampa, Chicago and Baltimore christ, even when Joba was punking Youk, all he did was turn back and cry to the ump like a little kid does in the playground to a teacher. no fire at all. on the Red Sox side, this series will be remembered for Youk running away from A-Rod like he was trying to put a worm on him, Joba punking Youk and Tito bitching cause some guy checked to see he was wearing his uni
  8. I can handle the loss in the 1st game, that was a back and forth tilt that went New York's way. But the last 2 games weren't nearly as close as the scores indicated, we couldn't hang with them
  9. f*** it, do it. he might give this team a little spice cause they were f***ing zombies in New York
  10. this is totally random but Pete Shepard is an idiot
  11. I would like to see them play, period. I'm not comfortable enough with their chances to care who they play
  12. classless, especially throwing anywhere near a guy's head. Youk should've charged the f*** out of the mound
  13. im calling Vegas right now and betting my life savings on a Drew DP
  14. 2 games in a row they cant even get a f***ing HIT in the first 5 innings. its like Mussina and Lieber in games 1 and 2 of the '04 ALCS all over again
  15. I see no reason to have any confidence in this team at all come October. laying down like pathetic bags of s***
  16. Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees Date: August 30, 2007 Start Time: 1:05 PM ET Location: Yankee Stadium Pitching Matchup: Curt Schilling (8-5, 4.11 ERA) vs. Chien-Ming Wang (13-5, 3.95 ERA) Mojo of the Day: http://msnbcmedia2.msn.com/j/ap/2b552d78-2aa0-459f-b768-0b9047b75ea1.widec.jpg STRAIGHTEN THEIR ASSES OUT
  17. they know how to beat Tampa and Chicago but have showed no fight in a pressure-filled situation against a desperate team this series officially makes me nervous for the playoffs
  18. farnsworth looks different since his Cub days http://www.911buycostume.com/Pages/eyeglasses/6530860_NerdGlasses_200.jpg
  19. how the f*** did he hit that out?
