    I think Eovaldi ends up in the pen when he returns, which means they need to be in the market for a #5 starter. And regarding Dennis Eckersley, his career was almost over before he ever threw a pitch for Oakland due to alcoholism. An injury to Jay Howell opened the door for Eckersley to close, who threw 115 innings as a reliever in 1987. If I remember right too, he traded his ability to throw 95+ for the pinpoint control be became to be immortalized for.

    Moonslav, there is no way to sugar coat it. The pen sucks. This is a case where the numbers are misleading. Other than Barnes (yes, I said it!) do you really trust anyone else? Barnes is starting to look overworked due to the lack of a 5th starter. 1 run lead, going in to the 9th.....you really feel comfortable? I think youre lying to yourself if you answer yes.

    It was fun while is lasted, but he really needs to figure things out in the minors before they permanently scar him and his psyche.

    I can understand how it looks that way. I get it. In the end, I want them to win, I want JBJ to play well, I want the Pen to succeed. I get so frustrated with them, this is an outlet for the frustration. But I do understand how that looks.

    They gave up 9 runs last night. Their bullpen blew the game the night before, twice. They gave up 6 runs 2 nights ago. Thats the offenses fault?

    Slasher, you are ok. I cant stand a couple of your old board mates though. They are brutal. Whenever I post anything, they attack it, then report me to the admins. Moonslav had an issue with me since the day I started posting here again.

If your point is that I have a life, 2 kids and work 60 hours a week and dont have time to post 35 times a day like some losers, then yes....I guess thats me.
