I have to say, I completey agree with Mrs.Millar16.
There are some things that don't show up in boxscores. Kevin Millar's personality and asset to the team (right now anyway) is what he brings to the clubhouse. He keeps everyone lose and having fun. What happens when you get a team full of great players with no chemistry? The New York Yankees. And who wants to root for the Yankees? No one in their right mind.
And I don't think you guys are giving him enough credit as a hitter, anway. It's not like he's Mark Bellhorn, striking out every chance he gets and hitting .220. The same exact thing happened last year. He had a horrible first half and then what happened? He had that three homerun game against the Yankees and he tore it up the second half. I know being patient isn't something we like to do in Red Sox Nation, but you have to with Millar. He's too good of a player to just give up on.
