  1. I TOTALLY AND COMPLETLEY AGREE. Even though hes not doing his best right now, at least he has the ability to be better. If anyone wants to admit it or not... he delivered last year. Lets not forget him hitting several game winning hommers and playing the hell out of first base in '04. If given the right chance, hes a phenominal player. He just needs to find his groove.
  2. I agree.
  3. I dont think they would become the Yankees without Kevin Millar, and I dont think that Kevin is the only person on the team that keeps them loose and having fun. What i do think though is that if Kevin were to be traded, that would be the first step into loosing a lot of other great players like Manny (who is really good friends with Kevin) and that would start a domino effect. Before you know it... we have great players with no love for the game. To me that is very "Yankee-like".
  4. Nikki... your a huge loser... and I hate you for saying that about Kevin Millar!
  5. I totaly agree, and im not trying to say that JD isnt a good player but im just saying that Millar is having a tough go of it right now and i think he'll find his groove again, but not without the support of his fans.
  6. Hey everybody... my name is Hillary and I LOVE KEVIN MILLAR! my screen name is Mrsmillar16 if anyone wants to IM me sometime (thats for aim incase you were wondering) I too am looking for someone i can "talk sox" with and my dad is a yankees fan so i cant talk to him... my sister is too girly and she doesnt like sports, and my mom is trying really hard but she just doesnt get the concept yet so if anyone is interested, my e-mail is hippybean16@hotmail.com and i am 16 years old, and im live in Mass. I hope to hear from someone!
  7. Well it seems to me that everyone who decided it was fit to answer my blog, looses total faith in a player epecially when they need help the most. If anyone decided they wanted to check it out before bashing him, his stats for last year were pretty damn good if you ask me, and no he may not have made the All Stars, but anyone in thier right mind can see that its just a popularity contest anyway. When Johnny Damon has a few bad at bats, or makes a few bad calls in the field, do we crucify him for it? No way... do you know why? Because he looks good in an underwear commercial. Is this baseball? I dont think so. By the way, im not mad at anyone that answered me, Im just venting... dont take it personally . Also Im not saying that Kevin Millar is "THE HEART" of the team, but I do think hes a great contirbutor to "keeping everyone loose". :harhar: By the way could someone who actually likes Kevin Millar please write?
  8. I see where your comming from but I CERTAINLY dont agree. The Red Sox are not the Red Sox without Kevin Millar. Without hope, skill means nothing. BIZLACHES! I want to see any other regular citizens go out there everyday and do what Kevin Millar dose. Olerude is a good player and hes got heart for the game, but not for the Red Sox. He loves baseball but not the way Kevin Millar dose. No one could replace Kevin Millar.
  9. MMMK... theres been a lot of talk about who should be the first baseman on the active roster all the time. John Olerude or Kevin Millar. I personaly am really torn. Olerude already had (last time i checked) a .356 batting average and hes a good first baseman... but on the otherhand i love Kevin Millar. Hes the heart of the team and he keeps everyone's spirits up you know? W/B and let me know what you think. :dunno:
