  1. Better hope that isn't combined.
  2. Well, they've lost 4 thus far, and without looking it up I'd hazard to guess you are 4 for 4. Not surprising a guy like you gets petty kicks.
  3. I'm seeing a trend. If Gom thinks the Sox will win 86, that means they lose 76. So, with the current trend, Gom will post in 76 Sox game threads.
  4. Mikey's battling! ..... Just missed a cookie.
  5. I'm flipping to the Rays game at the commercial break here in FL. James Shields has a silly change up. Rally started!
  6. Ho'elle. One out, dude. One. Out.
  7. It's happening if he gets Manny and Drew.
  8. Ibanez tried to F it up.
  9. Dice has pitched OK, but he doesn't have it tonight. He's missing the glove more than usual (from the limited amount I've seen him). I'll take a QS on an off night.
  10. Ojimastaaa...sanjin kaibuti rojistuma.
  11. Saiku mata rojo shin sagusima.
  12. Less outs is less outs, and that's more runs with Manny and Drew to follow. If he started doing it, they'd have to adjust, because over time those two will drive him in.
  13. Every time he hits right into the shift, he reinforces its use. I'd put one down the 3B line every game until teams played me straight up.
  14. Was that the gyroball? Slider like spin with no break?
  15. Don't think twice, Blue, that was there!
  16. It is free and easy, which means he can pump it at 98 in the 7th. Re: the ESPN gun, Bedard hit 98 on opening night in Minnesota. They juice their gun almost as bad as YES.
  17. He's got good heat, but I don't trust ESPN's gun. I've watched several of his starts and he sits at 96-98. I know, I know, not a big drop-off, but he doesn't have 100 mph gas.
  18. 93 mph sliders are illegal.
  19. If Felix can get it consistent, we are looking at another Pedro.
  20. Man, King's hook is just silly.
  21. Is that two straight 5IP/10K performances? Gotta love that spiffy 18 K/9. I agree. I thought he should have been the 5th starter out of the gate.
  22. Bad form. If they lose, I fart in your general direction. Even on your birthday. Today in History: Albert Einstein releases the Theory of Special Relativity. Of note in the theory are time dilation, length contraction, and the ever important mass/energy transformation, E=mc^2. As something approaches the speed of light, c, time slows down. Even biological clocks, like aging. This was proven when the US Air Force took two atomic clocks on two different planes traveling in opposite directions, one with the other against the Earth's rotation. The clocks, utilizing Cesium oscillation frequencies to track time, recorded different time spans for the event. As we all know, the Dice-man has a sneaky fast FB. This has to be due to time dilation. We measure it in our time, but it is going much faster than we think, in fact it is experiencing less time, which throws the hitter off. http://www.etsu.edu/math/gardner/5310/einstein.gif
