I agree. I'll take Tek for 3yrs/27m, but no more. there are plenty of No. 2 pitchers we can trade for or still pursue in FA market. If you think about, we only need a pitcher that can win 16 games next year. Kim is not a good fit here, but we still need to let him pitch at least the first half of next year so we can use him in a trade. That guy need to go and I think by letting him pitch the first half other teams may (hopefully ) find a spot for him on their team. That's my two cents worth.

Relax folks. We still have plenty of options now that we have 13m available to spend. I think we will find out soon that Ranteria is in the bag. Either Clement or A.J. Burnett are a good bet. :thumbsup: Pedro will be missed, but it is now time to move on. Shilling's health shouldn't be a problem when it really counts, I hope I have be honest with you, I really like the fact that Theo and the Trio didn't buckle to sign Martinez for 4 years. Good move! One more thing. I don't think Tek should be offered anything more than what is on the table now. 4yr/36m is plenty. I am surprised they are even willing to go 4 yrs with Tek.
