  1. What did you think about what Kevin Millar said on The Best Damn Sports Show (Friday) about taking shots prior to Game 6 (ALCS) and throughout the World Series? He said they were drunk in Game 4 (WS), and Trot Nixon was suppose to have a take on the 3-0 and bases loaded pitch. Later said he shouldn't have said anything. I guess no one else said anything public so far. It was funny hearing him tell it on the show. He didn't say everybody took a shot, but some players were a little loopy. Even Francona got in on this. Hell, if they played that good they should continue this through next season.
  2. Preface: I coached high school football/basketball in Baton Rouge area for over a decade and basically lost interest in professional sports. I played baseball growing up, like a lot of kids, more than anyother sport. I just recently got out of teaching and coaching and I'm starting to get back into things I use to love like baseball, fishing, watching sports on tv more, etc. I have followed the Red Sox from a distance over the years. I remember as a kid watching the Bucky Dent HR, even though I liked the Dodgers back then and really pulling for them in the 86 World Series, but really started getting back into things this summer and especially pulling for them pationately in the post-season. Found my team. Sticking with them 4ever. Also I found out that Fenway Park first opened on the same date as my youngest son's birthdate. Same number printed on centerfield wall. 420 (I know with the kids today that number takes on a whole other meaning- lol) But still thought that was pretty cool. I had a few questions regarding different subjects. Hope somw of you can answer some/all of them. Thanks for taking the time to read this and answering what you can. 1. When did team first use the red jerseys? (I ordered one. Really like to see them play in red) 2. Is there a magazine/publication to subscribe to on Red Sox baseball only? 3. How tough is it to get single game/weekend series tickets, especially on top of the monster? 4. Where's some of the best locations/hotels to stay in Boston or just outside the city? 5. How tough is it to get Patriots tickets? (Might wait till baseball/football overlap) Again thanks for the help.

  4. Hi Red Sox fans, from Baton Rouge, LA. Never been to Bahston, but would really like to see some games next year in Fenway and see the monstah. Only 1500 miles away. Waiting on next year's complete schedule to come out. I follow the Patriots as well, which has several LSU players on the team. What a post-season. So much history has been made. Geaux Red Sox!
