i hate to say it but i have this feeling the sox are going to cut payroll this offseason and not enter big contracts to bring in stars
all i'm hearing is that cabrera wants too much and pedro wants too many years
it sounds like they are waiting until 2006 for hanley ramirez and some of their other prospects to get into the game...talking about signing vizquel now as a holdover...
i'd hate to see this team turn out to be the '97 marlins, because as im sure all of you know, john henry owned that team too
i do realize that the city of boston and red sox nation will most likely not allow for any sort of rebuilding mode, but i just have this feeling they won't be doing much huge spending this winter...with the exception of varitek and maybe pavano..
they're saying they want to plan not only for 2005 but also for 2015
