billy crystals a bitch. he was talking about how badly it hurt for him to see the yanks lose the pennant or world series in 68 or 69 (i dont member which), and how it still hurts today. What the hell? the yanks won so many championships in that era that crying about one is f***ing sad. his movies suck now anyways.

I love to see how they talk so horrible about schilling and all the while Steinbrenner was breaking his back trying to sign him, then decides to go with A-Rod. Good choice there. Kinda like the Aesop fable about the fox who couldn't reach the grapes on the vine. When he gave up trying, he walked away saying to himself, "those grapes are probably sour anyways." The moral: It is a fool who often despises that which he cannot attain.

Growing up as a Cardinals fan, I find myself torn between my two favorite teams. But I couldnt be more proud to play a team like this from Boston. Even if the Cardinals lose, I won't be sad. There's some good to be had if Boston does win. The curse would be over, and hopefully passed to the Yankees. Pedro would get his much deserved WS ring, and the New Yorkers would have egg on their face, and be berated all next year. It will be a good series, and the Cardinals are great at Busch stadium. Our fans our friendly and kind though (up to a point), so there probably won't be any shenanigans from them to warrant a full-dressed riot squad (unlike some of those unhappy, unsportsmanlike perennial arrogant f***s from NYC). We're just happy to be in the series. And if we lose, I'm glad it was Boston that beat us. I really hate the Yankees... *kicks Billy Crystal in the nuts* Theres one to cry over.

I've been a Boston fan for a few years, and grew up a Cardinals fan. I love 'em both, and want to see them play each other in the World Series. I'd probably lean more towards the Cardinals if they play, but I'd be happy regardless of who did win. Thanks for having me here oh, btw, doesn't Stephen King look creepy as hell sitting there in his BoSox cap? Its like hes contemplating the death of Derek Jeter (which isnt too bad an idea)

God I have been praying for a win all night and morning long. I have two big games today, Houston@St. Louis, and this one. I just hope I get to see my two teams in what will be the greatest World Series in many, many years. Wakefield I think is a better choice than Lowe, but hey, if its good enough for Francona, I'll go with it. He proved his worth by keeping Bellhorn in last night. Hopefully, we can win without slapping Yankees, but hell, that didn't help them last night This is one of those times when I hate living in Arkansas. I'm so far away from the excitement and the fandom like in Boston. Party hard for me after we win the ALCS tonight
