  1. A couple of thoughts come to mind. I don't think it's any question whether to leave Millar on the roster. He's such a valuable, and he's often overlooked. His numbers may not show it, but he comes in the clutch when we need him. I don't think Kapler should be on the playoff roster. He's so streaky, and it's about time for him to cool off and go 0-25. I say stick with Roberts and Youk on the bench. Now, who suggested Lowe as an RP? I think that would be a terrible move. Remember the days when he was closer and short reliever? I think Lowe needs to stick to starting. He's going through a tough time with his command, but we all know he's a trooper. Aghh... I can't wait until next week!!
  2. Well, as long as we keep on winning, I don't think we really need a strategy. Plus, who said we were being conservative? We're givin' it all we got, and heck yeah, we're going after that division! BTW, good performance by Bronson. I really like the kid. ~Josh
  3. C'mon guys, give the man a break. I know we're all armchair managers to a certain extent, but really. Terry has alot to take to care of, not just during the game, but all day. I, for one, wouldn't take his job. It's high-pressure, especially with the Boston media. How can you criticize someone who has brought the Sox to the playoffs yet again? Sure, he has some flaws, but he is doing an overall good job with a full lineup and excellent pitching. Hey, he's better than Mr. Little. ;-) ~Josh
  4. Hello everyone, My name is Josh, and I recently came across this board. I've been a huge a Sox fan as long as I've been alive, all 19 years. I've been to Fenway a couple dozen times, as much as I can afford. I currently attend school in Ohio, but was born and raised in good ol' Lewiston, Maine. Any other Mainers on this board? I've posted on other random message boards, but I'm glad I found one dedicated to our BoSox. In fact, I've been in a heated debate with a Yankees fan recently on a NASCAR racing board. But alas, you all know how hard it it to argue with those hard-headed fans of the evil empire. I hope to be able to add to the conversation and meet some of y'all. My favorite Sox players are Schilling, Ortiz, Nixon, and Varitek. Anyway, I can't wait until the playoffs!! I'm so pumped, and I know we got something special in us. ~Josh
