  1. Why is anyone answering this idiot? Clearly, he does not understand what the protests were about.
  2. Does anyone have the complete list of the players' votes for Most Overrated Player? I saw the Newsday article that lists Jeter, Beltran and A-Rod, but couldn't find a link for the entire list. Thanks in advance.
  3. I go to all the Sox/Yankee Games in NY--I always wear my Sox shirt and cheer for them: I have only encountered a few problems. Master Shake, don't worry about it: the only people I see getting hassled are those wearing "Yankees Suck" shirts or the embarrassing Sox fans who curse and scream negative things about Yankee players. Which game are you going to? We'll be at the game on Saturday, September 10.
  4. It was on Dan Patrick's Radio Show on ESPN. Here is what Schilling actually said: "A-Rod is a Hall of Fame player. He could be the greatest player that ever played when he is done, but I don't associate [class] with him, not at all" Concerning slapping Arroyo: "That was freakin' junior high baseball at it's best. First of all, Bronson wasn't in the baseline to begin with. He could have easily broken his arm. C'mon, that was tired."
  5. I would like to see that actual link/video that has Schilling using the phrase "punk-ass." Until I do, I have serious doubts that this is not an embellishment of what he said
  6. Hi, Yankeesrule. I have been a sox fan living in the NY area my whole life (very frustrating!) and I have to say my favorite yankee is still (and probably always will be) Derek Jeter and you guys should all be proud of him. Even tonight, when hope was fading, he was the only one on the Yankee squad who was still playing and running for stuff and trying to get the team into the game--it's almost like he's a Sock Good Luck next year. Thanks
  7. I don't necessarily believe in a curse, I'm just saying.... Why go to church if you don't believe? Just In Case!!
  8. Bellhorn--still don't like him (and he has a B in his name--bad Karma for game 7), but great HR tonight A-Rod---"Cheater, cheater, you're a ......eater"(I can't remember that childhood chant and it's driving me crazy (help me out, someone) Ortiz--now well rested for a dramatic game 7 Also, we have to make sure Bubba Crosby doesn't come in tomorrow night--he's the only B on the Yankees other than Bernie Williams (who we need to walk EVERY TIME he's up) Let's not tempt the curse!!
  9. END of the 1st--2-0 SOX. Mussina's throwing way too many pitches!!
  10. Johnny Damon: the most underrated player in the MLB. Why do the yankees always pitch to him? In my memory, he has always gotten a big hit when needed against the yanks...last night was no different. Great game. Unfortunately, it's pouring rain up here in the NY area. Today's game is probably rained out (and I have tickets
  11. I've been going to these games with family (who are Yankees fans)...the section we're in are all season ticket/weekend package holders. Believe me, I'm the only one in that area with a Sox shirt on
  12. I'll be the only person in section 19, box 481 with a red sox t-shirt on...
