  1. I don't really care now how the sox do, but in late july, august, and september, everything changes.
  2. Whoa, that was a close one.
  3. 1-8 in night games.
  4. Maybe the umps are anti-japanese. Second time Matsui's been f***ed over on an outside third strike call haha.
  5. I'm not for reviewing balls and strikes either, but in that situation, game on the line, it should be accepted.
  6. Since when did baseball coaches tell hitters to swing at balls?
  7. At least you're expanding your vocabulary in that post. Oh wait....
  8. Just saw it again, that call was one of the worst strike calls I've ever seen. f***ers are lucky it's april, cause if this was a playoff game, I might have to boycott baseball. Haha
  9. Nice job home plate ump, right on cue! Calls strike 3 on a ball at least 5 inches off the plate. End the game on a blown call why doncha. Talk about umps deciding the game.
  10. I'm not saying umps are targeting the yankees deliberately. I'm saying instant replay is needed. Blown calls don't need to be "part of the game." Sorry if I'm somewhat of a perfectionist. I want things done right.
  11. A blown call that goes against the yankees costing us 2 runs. Well got that daily occurence out of the way. Lets start playing now. Why Baseball hasn't followed suit when the 2 other major sports have gone to instant replay is beyond me. Nothing more annoying than umps deciding the game.
  12. Would have been better in pinstripes, but I forgive him.
  13. wow a win without blowing the team out, and under 5 runs. Maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel.
  14. Well the point remains that from the looks of things RIGHT NOW, it was a bad trade for the sox.
  15. Regardless of the opposition, giving up only 2 runs in fenway is an achievement in itself.
  16. Yeah, but I like it that way. Gives it character. Pedro came up with the yankees? I always thought he came up with the dodgers.
  17. P=mv. What's that? The equation to momentum. Mass multiplied by velocity will give you that and due to the law of conservation of momentum, that product will remain the same. Meaning that, no, there is no way he could have just stopped and thrown the guy out. Yes, I could have made this post shorter, but I decided to be a hero.
  18. you must have missed that play he made today, a sure web gem.
  19. Because pedro is the man, and he looks good in pinstripes.
  20. 139 K's and an MVP? I'll take it!
  21. I couldn't care less about the purity, and the tradition and all that. Umps are human and will blow calls, and it DOESNT have to be part of the game. We've got the technology, use it. I was all thinking more of like the NBA style, where any close play is looked at, no challenge is needed.
  22. Yeah, they're not going to change anything and I'm not saying it's yankee hating umps or sox loving umps, I just think this is more evidence how instant replay would be useful.
