    They did it for the fans. You play the starters for the first few innings or half the game, and then take them out. I know there's a risk of injury, but you can't start a bunch of scrubs when people are shelling out $200 per ticket per game. I call the first playoff gamethread, bitches.

    Yeah, let's continue to rag on the guy who's been one of the biggest pieces, behind Ortiz, to the Sox' success in September. Let's also continue to beat a dead horse. Ridiculous. Only in Boston will fans find time to focus on the biggest disappointment of the year on the best team in baseball.

    Wow. As one commentator put it, today is "Trainwreck Saturday", nevermind "Upset Saturday." Penn State fell to Illinois, Georgia Tech beat Clemson, Kansas State shoved it up Texas' ass, Colorado shocked Oklahoma, Maryland is looking to knock off Rutgers, and West Virginia got beat by South Florida yesterday.

    THE ORIOLES TIED THE GAME!!!! 9-9 going to the 10th. Not only is it sweet that the Orioles tied it, but Mo threw a lot of pitches and their bullpen is going to have to be used. I love it. Does Torre just throw out his s***** pitchers and rest his good arms with the high probability of losing the division tonight, or does he use his good arms?
