  1. im not sure, so i didnt vote, but im curious to see what others think. if u say no, please post how many u think he WILL win.
  2. its likely, but the deal has only been OFFERED, there is no done deal, and even omar minaya says they are "still in it"...a bit of off-tone positiveness there. mlb.com report if i was in pedros shoes, id take the money and go to the mets, because he deserves the most amount of money someone will put out there for him. pedro wants the most money he can get, wouldnt YOU? i hope he will come back, but now with the mets offering a 4th year, it is going to be VERY difficult for the sox to match it. i guess the only thing left is to sit on pedros loyalty. if he goes fine, i wish him luck next year, if he comes back, ill be ecstatic.
  3. they wont be, they signed russ ortiz and troy glaus to major contracts...both in the 40 mills range. their making a run at a WS WITH johnson...theyd be stupid to sign russ and glaus and then trade johnson...
  4. punctuation would have helped to seperate the two points... but now i understand.
  5. owned by gertie...id agree.
  6. wells is still a good pitcher. imagine the rotation if we signed wells AND pavano...unlikekly tho: schill pedro pavano wells arroyo wake to bullpen? switch pavano and wells from the 3 and 4 spots?
  7. steve finley--->angels, 2yrs/14mill richard hidalgo-->rangers, 1yr/5mill ARIZONA with another big move: russ ortiz--->d-backs, 4yrs/33mill thats it for now.. DISCUSS!! with arizona making another big move for another pitcher, 2 questions arise for me: 1) does this mean that they are possibly bringing in a replacement for randy so he can go elsewhere? possibly NY? 2) does this mean they are surely keeping randy and going for a run at the WS with him? i think number 2 stands out more for me.
  8. u dont have much room in your backyard... o theres that big side yard..
  9. *gasp* its so close u can taste it... watch him sign with the orioles anyway
  10. im with stocker and element on this one. just enjoy the rest of the season and wait til next year...pickin the pats repeatedly would get boring
  11. i remember, and i also remember them saying at that rate he would have had 1100 points in the game..wow.
  12. lol...best case scenario we sign pedro Rj stays in ARI and beltran doesnt go to yanks. i love it. thank the lord.
  13. yes, it is jeff kent saw it on espn news just now on NESN.
  14. 8 minutes...bah
  15. i said about 7, 8 or 9. 3 superbowls in 4 years at about 24 years old (?) is amazing...with a great future ahead. he could easily develop into a top 5 QB, but im not sure...its pretty damn hard. and to answer someones Q about vick, hed go in the early 20s for me...not good enough yet, was hurt whole last year, had one good year, having a goood year, but before i make my decision, id want to see more of his west coast offense skills.
  16. i dunno....i hate the BCS..it doesnt work. polls dont work. stats work. go by them. cal did get f***ed, they deserved it, texas is gunna lose, and it would be a better game with cal in there.
  17. SIGNINGS!!! just heard on sportscenter: woody williams--->padres, for one year/3.5 mil john lieber-->phillies, for three years/21 mil al leiter-->marlins, 1 year/not sure DISCUSS!
  18. lol, thanks for re-itterating my thoughts... although he does get pretty f***in annoying and sometimes i just have to respond lol. from now on...ill try not to...and so should... YOU! http://wvmt.com/~brizzi/pics/news/action/uncle-sam-pic.jpg EDITED by Calvnhobs6...threw in the uncle sam pic for ya.
  19. wow, you made it in my book as an informative yankee fan. jared wright pitched will until '97, alright since, but its harder in the east, try pitching him against boston or the o's who are improving, and he might get teed off on. and yea, who did santana face? cleveland, KC, CWS and det...not great teams. but santana was unbelievable. truthfully to me, the only possible way to determine the winner would be to match them up in a game and see who wins.
  20. brady is what sparks this team. hes the straw that stirs the drink... brady carried this team on his shoulders for 2 superbowl seasons in 3 years, and is en route for another.... i will admit the addition of dillon has helped, but brady has led the pats to 50-13 in his starts. however, i do agree with yankeesin05 that he is not top 5, i think hes close. top 10, maybe 9th or 10th spot.
  21. lol he did click the link, hes just too dumb to realize that we know there is no picture but words, and hes too dumb to follow the correct procedure.
  22. wow 2090, nice comeback...
  23. hands down? dont be so sure. schilling is better than pedro, thats known, and pedro may have beaten santana had it not been for late in the game and a key error.
