    Certainly looks like hes pitching around Coco, cautiously. Every ball has been way down and out of the zone, except the first one which was up and in.

    Herm had no team with the Jets. Pennington is a pussy, he cant throw, and when he's healthy he has no arm strength. He had a solid back in Martin, but other than that he didnt really have many playmakers on the offensive side of the ball after Santana Moss left. Theyve got Coles back now, but he's been going downhill since he was traded after the 2002 season. They also didnt really have much defense to speak of. I believe they made the playoffs 3 times under Edwards, so I'd say given the team and situation he did a very solid job of coaching that team. Edit: Outside of Martin and Coles/Moss, for the years Herm coached them, those were basically the only offensive threats.

    Actually, he isnt. Even though we still got Belichick and Brady, I'm not confident in this team going into the season. The defense is markedly worse, and the running AND recieving game is in the air.

So to say something like that and be completely off base AND THEN try to defend it is just f***ing stupid. I think you should get hit by a drunk driver and see how you feel about it. I've got a soft spot for stupid s*** like drinking and driving, because, even though I havent driven drunk, I have made a mistake dealing with this stupid s*** in the past, and I cant believe you would do something as to make an excuse for it.
