  6. as i said before, his head is in his ass, this is causing his pitches to go all over the place in easy to hit places. they hit them, lowe era bloats, and we all think he sucks. last season he pitched poorly a lot as well but we still thought he was good. he had an era around 4.50 i think. but he still won because of our offense. in conclusion, if it wasnt for our offense last season, he would have sucked then too. but it is how poor our offense has played this season compared to how well they played last season is what is making some people overreact a little. Yanks up 1-0 in the top 8, runner on 2nd one out for texas bernie williams is 3-4 with a homer leading off today...
  7. whoa whoa whoa. lowe was good last year. he just sucks this year. crespo sucks, and always will, crespo is the official worst player ever, and your grandkids could see him if he ever gets another job
  8. HOLY CRAP, CRAPSPO GOT A HIT!!!!!! EVERYONE SHOULD BOW DOWN TO HIM!!!
  9. wow, lowe needs to pull his head out of his ass and learn to pitch again
  10. yea, same here, project will take me all night, ill try to post as often as i can tonight but i dont know how much. but that lineup looked pretty good to me. id love to see it in action for us
  11. im looking for a great outing from lowe (only 6 ER) and so good hitting and we can hopefully pull it right out of lowes ass
  12. lowe pitching, im not confient at all. got this off of redsox.com Lowe hopes to snap out of funk Boston (32-23) at Kansas City (21-33), 2:05 p.m. ET By Ian Browne / MLB.com The Red Sox ended their team slump by downing the Royals on Saturday night. Derek Lowe will try and end his own slump Sunday afternoon, and conclude this five-game road trip on a winning note for the Red Sox. In 11 starts this season, the sinkerballer has pitched seven innings just once. As for the Boston bats, they hope to build momentum off their 13-hit attack on Saturday. The Sox enter the day 2 1/2 games behind the Yankees in the AL East. Pitching matchup BOS: RHP Derek Lowe 4-5, 6.84 ERA in 2004 0-1, 6.35 vs. KC in 2004 1-4, 5.04 lifetime vs. KC KC: LHP Chris George 0-0, 4.05 ERA in 2004 First appearance vs. BOS in 2004 0-2, 4.22 lifetime vs. BOS Players to watch No. 2 hitter Mark Bellhorn has reached base in 49 of 53 games this season. He's hitting .361 in his last 14 games. ... Desi Relaford has had good success against Lowe, going 5-for-12 with a double and two homers. Quotable "We'd like to get on a little roll here and get back to the team that we know we are." -- Curt Schilling, hoping Saturday's victory will rejuvenate his team
  13. A few thoughts on your thoughs 1) True, closers cant just pitch in save opportunities because theyll get rusty and not pitch well like you said 2) Very True, I have been a Bellhorn believer since the start. I always knew he would play good, but not this good. He deserves to start. He has reached base in 49 of 53 games this season. He is batting .361 in his last 14 games. 3) True, Of course we didnt suck.
  14. good win boys. lets look to seize this opportunity and carry the bats over to help lowe out so he doesnt make us lose... again
  15. oh yea, 4-1, bellhorns the man

  21. god damn them, i hate them. they go to the games for 5 innings then leave their seats (which are usually the best in the stadium) but no one can take them. its SO stupid
  22. i would believe it because of his horrible pitching performance vs Anaheim
