  1. Named as a replacement on the SAL All-Star team
  2. even if he is back, bellhorn should still play
  3. yes, very true, but usually they wont score 13 runs
  4. and their bats, they won 13-2
  5. they lost... FINALLY
  6. now RSR, would you miss bellhorns homerun tonight? would you miss his offense? because without that it would only be 4-1 not 4-2
  7. i would never say stuff like that, bellhorn has been one of our more productive hitters. defense should be the least of our worries. bellhorn has played very well and deserves to start. remember this will also give youkilis more laying time why do you hate bellhorn so much? just because he isnt as good at defense as pokey?
  8. oh well, down 2 after one but the yankees are 3-0
  9. they WILL be a contender. they have solid young pitching prospects. their hitting is loaded with vets that can hit and a shitload of hitting prospects along with huff, baldelli, and crawford (are they still considered prospects?). they make a sick outfield and first 3 in the lineup. and with the experience of lou at the helm they will be good
  10. lowe has pitched well lately, but im still not confident in him. i hope he can pitch well, but Minnys offense has hit well this season. as long as we dont get any homers robbed by thier amazing outfield, lowe pitches well, and we are winning after the 6th (rincon, romero, and nathan have pitched superb), we should win this one i predict a 6-4 sox win, all the runs scored early, the pitchers settle down, and the bullpens will take the show
  11. oaklands bullpen sucks this season compared to last because we took their man!!! (and rhodes is gone too). dotel will be the one piece that would complete their team. beltran wouldnt help houston as much as it would other teams seeing that their hitting is fine the way it is, but they would get they type of player that could lead off which is their only real weakness. but it would really screw up their bullpen. losing a top notch closer and setup man is a killer to any bullpen. and i hear one of oaklands prospects is bairds favorite. so this deal would be fairly good for all teams involved. as for us. we cant lose our best noncloser reliever in swilly. as i have said, all embree does is 90 mph fastballs and timlin is way too inconsistent. but we could have leskanic who i hope can play well as a setup man. youkilis and shoppach need to stay here, end of story. mueller is nearing the end of his career, and varitek and his gay-ass may go somewhere else. we would need youks and shoppach to be here next season, end of story. i hope theo will realize how much this deal will f*** up our future and not do this deal. yes, it will seem good at first, but we wont have a catcher or 3rd baseman when tek and mueller are gone. PLEASE THEO, DONT TRADE YOUKILIS AND SHOPPACH AND SWILLY!!
  12. nomar still proving that he could crush the ball. great game tonight, not only nomar pounded it but everyone did
  13. no... 3-1 manny hits a homer
  14. you just worried me there, swilly is our best noncloser reliever. embree can only throw 90 mph fastballs, timlin is too inconsistent nonetheless, leskanic will help us tremendously. he will add much needed experience and depth
  15. feels like years since we last won a game
  16. i dont really mind them unless they ask for tickets. especially the ones that go from car to car waiting at a stop light... that pisses me off
  17. he will be an excellent edition to the bullpen
  18. he has just put himself into the company of the greatest hitters ever. great job junior
  19. theyre a really underrated hitting team. huff is finally getting in a groove. baldelli and crawford are getting back to last seasons form. role players like tino, and cruz jr are stepping it up big time
  20. and he showed it today, i am just wowed by his talent
  21. im with yeszir, not confident at all. schmidt has returned to the all-star game starter we saw last season, and bronson has been horrible the past month. but as stocker said, anything can happen on any night
  22. i dont see what people see in beckett, sure he crushed the yankees on 3 days rest. but thats the YANKEES, ,come on. he never really was good in the first place
  23. its ok, everyone is lazy from time to time
