Seriously, think about it. You're the Pirates, you have a chance to add a guy who hit 32 HR's last year, and bat him behind Jason Bay. Do you want him or Cabrera? I'm sure the Pirates would like Cabrera, but they want LaRoche more.

Schiraldi may be the worst October pitcher other than Javier Vazquez, but like you said with Clemens, they're great until they hear the word playoffs. The Red Sox were close with Schiraldi, do they really think they can get close with Hansen/Delcarmen/Timlin, etc..? If they do, look foward to watching highlights of the 2004 Red Sox come October.

This is an A-Rod stunt. Everyone in here would be thrilled that his or hers picture is on a fantasy football ad, on page 75 in Sports Illustrated. Does Tom Brady have no soul? I believe he is a top paid player in salary, not to mention the millions and millions of dollars he gets in endorsments every commerical he does. I was enraged when A-Rod said people hate me, because I'm good looking and biracial. I can make a confident statement that Tom Brady thinks the same way. Now my question is why do people like Tom Brady?

Michael Jordan was cut from his high school team because he was small. He grew four inches the following year, and was immediately added to the basketball roster. The circumstances are so entirely different, that it's laughable you bring it up. Kyle Snyder has peaked, Jordan and Wallace didn't. Kyle Snyder wasn't good enough for the Royals, why would he be good enough for the Red Sox? The only place I can forsee him pitching at next year is Pawtucket.
