  1. i saw it! the movie was fun... i was at the premier with john, larry and sam they sat the row behind me so it was cool. kevin was there then a few old timers like sam horn and luis tiant. it was weird going to it though cuz i had to walk down the red carpret like everyone else and i never had so many camera's in my face before.
  2. yes a-rod was trades for soriano but that was a payroll move. their have been several swirling rumors about texas trying to turn soriano into pitching. maybe we have to throw in a class 2a pitching prospect on top of kim but from what i hear it wouldnt be much more than that... assuming hicks will still deal with boston.
  3. i got 24 so far.... i might sleep out a couple nights for standing tickets to some yankee games.... i have 5 yankee games already... i slept out the night they went on sale and boy was it cold. as a reward we got to go up in the 600 club around 8:30 am. that was cool up there.... it is how i should be livin all the time. never to watch the game though... i would rather be in the first row.
  4. several of you have mentioned that kim is no good under pressure and that is a fairly good assement at least to date of kim. now when you are on a team that will be dissappointed with anything less than a world series there is added pressure on everyone. yes even the 5th starter. as the 5th starter you are expected to win just like everyone else. talent wise kim may be better but i say give brunson the nod. then we can ship kim off to a team with less expectations and he will most likely succeed. i say the perfect fit is to send him to texas for soriano. they need young affordable pitching and we could use some infield power with nomar hurt and possibly gone next year. and just think of the look on george's face if we get soriano.
  5. how about nomar, youlkis, and mueller for chaves and crosby... i think nomar will need surgery and end up being on the shelf for longer than anyone wants to admit.
  6. i would have to go with nomar.... but does anyone remember the 80's? greenwell boggs and nick esasky...
