Brandon Neely is a right-handed pitching prospect for the Boston Red Sox and is ranked among the organization's top 30 prospects. After a solid career at the University of Florida, he was selected in the third round of the 2024 MLB Draft. Red Sox are working him as a reliever turned starter; however, he has the fixings to become an elite bullpen piece of the future.

Neely sounds like an intriguing arm in the system. That transition from reliever to starter will be interesting to watch, especially in terms of stamina and pitch development. Even if he ends up back in the bullpen, his background could make him a versatile option. The Red Sox seem to be keeping multiple pathways open for him.
