I wish Cora had just a trace of Lou Pinella in him. Just a trace. His style of management is excuses and oh well where Pinella, albeit a bit of a loose cannon (the Dibble situation for one ) got the most of his players every game. Cora celebrates mediocrity as success

At this point and I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’d rather see Wong instead of Narvaez. N has been a disaster the second half.

No idea how he’s earned this great manager reputation. He’s managed the Sox to Two last place finishes and two third place finishes. He can’t manage the Xs and Os and maintains his position because he’s a friend instead of a leader.

It all starts with the manager and his lack of presence. Cora does not command the room and this team will turtle once again just a little later this year. If the Sox don’t replace Cora the cycle of less than mediocre will continue. He can’t manage to win only to appease.

This team is mentally weak and unable to handle adversity. No grit no leadership. Going through the motions

Reality is this team is just not that good. It’s frustrating to see them lose but this is not a good lineup. Even with Anthony and Abreu they are not championship caliber. Not even close. We’re rooting for an outcome that’s highly unlikely.

Is there any real surprise with the makeup of this team? The lack of grit, leadership and killer mentality. This group caved like many of th teams under Cora’s direction.
