    Would Trading Sale actually get us a ring faster than keeping him ? ? I would like to know what package would it take ? Thus team is not winning a World Series way to many holes both at starter and Relief along with a rookie 3b who is finding his way a banged up 2b who is on his last legs ...who would you go after ?This is clearly a one and done Wildcard team .

    I don't think I've ever thought of Xander as a guy who has it all invested.....This is hard to say ....There are a few of our better players who don't seem to mind losing .....I no not all players are going to scratch and claw for it but damn it seems like they don't give a rip like Pedey like Trot like schilling like Papi like our 13 team our 04 team ...Billy M man that guy hated losing ....Passion where the hell is it ? if Pedro gave up 4 those guys would go to war to win a game not only for themselfs but for Pedro .

    The players we have are just not good enough to win a ring ....Mookie and JD are amazing players no you build upon them Xander has come along way ....Devers is a year out but talented .....Benny is right there on the cusp ....we have a great core of players ....but the pitching ??? Nope it's weak ....Sale is weak he's our Ace ....Price who the hell knows right ? Erod is way to inconsistent.....Porcello again just not good enough ...so we have holes upon holes then the bullpen ? Kelly ? Barnes ? Johnson ? Those guys have had moments but they are never to be counted on .The team needs 2 starters and Two bullpen arms a catcher a mature 3B a healthy second baseman.....it's smoke and mirrors right now folks .Wildcard and out in the first round again ...rinse repeat .Trade JBJ ,Sale ,and restock up Reload.

    John Lester meant a lot more to us than the ownership thought ...fatal blow .Sale is not nor will ever be what John was for us in crunch time games .

    That Yankees team can score at will ...we are not built that way ...who is though except NY ? I think the best teams are not separated by a razors edge like we all want to believe ...there is more space between these teams than our media and fans project .I hope Dave knows this and acts appropriately...They are Mocking our OF now .WOW

    Houston is about as good as we use to be when we had Papi and Manny a young Lester and a veteran Schilling ....they are going to take off again .

    ....of course they make the playoffs look at this division ...the goal is a World Series and it's not happening with this group no way no how .Mookie and JD can't pitch .

    They are a much better team In every aspect of the game ....Boston is not 1 player away they are not winning a Worldseries while these are our pitchers ...Bullpen and starters are just not good enough .I think I will enjoy the season more knowing that we are not good enough .I hope Dave starts trading Players like Kelly and Sale away sooner than later .
