I don't care what it says ,but I'm playing along here .My take is offer a short term 3 for 90 or like you are saying go 5 at 125 and maybe slip an opt out year 3 ? Who knows ? But this is getting stupid ...they are a week out now....I'm getting nervous we don't land JD or Nuney or Lomo now .In reality what's JD really worth ? He's a DH for us and maybe a few days a month OF ....that type of player is maybe worth what 15 to 18 Million player tops ? a truly fair deal is 18 for 4 .....right ? ...

Todd is a country strong low average high power pull hitter and very good glove he's a very good get by the mets and would have been welcomed here .I love the guys attitude the glove the teammate the power he gives and he can play 1st and 3rd .I personally would have much rather picked up Todd bs Mitch ....but he comes with a low average sure .

Lomo strikes me as the kind of guy that will absolutely love Playing in Boston ...He is the guy that needs a big stage to take his talents and amplify them .I look at Lomo as a replacement for Hanley and Mitch ..JD is a superior Hitter though .Mitch should have been upgraded to Lomo ,Santana ,Hosmer in that order .For the life of me I will never agree at bringing Mitch back on a Fit sighning .Duda can be a name that fits some peoples reasoning but I don't like ex Mets ....as weird as that is maybe 86 thing ?
